*ECON 125 , ECON 220 , ECON 221 , ECON 230 , MATH 116 and MATH 120 /CISC 120 or CISC 131 are Prerequisites for the major and must be used to fulfill general education requirements.

**ECON 115 is mandatory for Freshman undergraduates in the Fall or Spring semester (for all Business Professionals). Not required of Business Honors Students.

ACCT 261 - Computer App for Accountants
ACCT 300 - Intermediate Accounting I (formerly ACCT 240)
ACCT 301 - Intermediate Accounting II (formerly ACCT 241)
MGMT 460 - Strategic Management (senior-level capstone course)
Any two additional Accounting (ACCT) courses except ACCT 380 - Co-op Accounting I or ACCT 381 - Co-op Accounting II
Any one additional Accounting (ACCT), Finance (FINC), Management (MGMT), International Business (INBU), and/or Marketing (MKTG) course.

The College’s 15-credit residency requirement in the major concentration of General Accounting must be met with 12 credits in Accounting (ACCT) courses numbered 250 or higher, excluding ACCT 380 and ACCT 381 , plus MGMT 460 Strategic Management (senior-level capstone course).

The major concentration in General Accounting meets the educational requirements for candidates applying to take the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Examination. The major concentration in General Accounting does not meet the educational requirements for candidates applying to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination.
