*Per New York State Education Department requirements, all students enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program must successfully complete 60 credits of Liberal Arts and Sciences coursework. If needed, students should use Open Elective credits to fulfill these requirements, beyond their General Education courses, and look for courses with the “LA” attribute when registering

MEDA 220 - Advanced TV Production
MEDA 295 - Topics in Media Studies
MEDA 303 - Broadcast Journalism
MEDA 311 - Radio Journalism
MEDA 315 - Video Editing II
MEDA 321 - Television Field Production
MEDA 370 - Understanding Media Tech
Plus Students in this major must complete 12 credits in a concentration of Media Studies offerings numbered from MEDA 110-499 chosen in conjunction with the program director and three credits in major electives (or major English courses numbered 200 or above).

Theatre Arts Minor

15 Credits
Students who choose to minor in Theatre Arts can complete it with 15 credits earned through five of the courses listed below. *At least TWO of these courses must be selected from the MEDA performance selections (246, 262, 263, 282).
