EDSA 594 - School District Administration Credit(s): 3 3 semester hours This course studies the roles and responsibilities of the superintendent of schools, central office administrators, and the Board of Education. Major topics include: organizational, professional and legal issues in school district administration; the school district administrator and organizational decision-making; emerging responsibilities in working relationships among school district administrators and the board and community; and critical economic, political, and social issues confronting educational leadership in a technological world. Fifteen hours of fieldwork required.
