PSYN 278 - Adolescent Psychology Credit(s): 3 This seminar focuses on the development of the adolescent from puberty to early adulthood. While the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social aspects of behavior will be discussed,
the course will pay particular attention to the changing physical body and the effects of peer groups on adolescent behavior. The historical development of the concept of adolescence will be examined. Prerequisite: An introductory psychology course or its equivalent. Students will find it helpful to have taken Human Body before enrolling for this course.
Only open to students in the B.A. Liberal Arts and Sciences program.
