PHYS 160 - Physics for the Life Sciences I Credit(s): 4 3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab Prerequisite(s): MATH 201 or the equivalent. This is the first in a two-semester sequence of introductory physics with integrated laboratory. Algebra-based introduction to general physical principles in the areas of mechanics, energy, thermodynamics with conceptual and quantitative applications to phenomena in the life and health sciences.
