CART 250 - Modeling for Digital Animation I Credit(s): 3 3 semester hours, 1.5 hours studio/lab per week Prerequisite(s): CART 214 and CART 225 . An introduction to modeling, texturing, and rendering for three-dimensional digital objects and environments. Topics include lighting and color, concepts of three-dimensional space, geometric transformation, and methods for smoothing. Working from concept art, students will be introduced to the modeling “pipeline” and the theory of, and methods for, compositing. Fall only
