A problem-solving approach to the study of macromolecular structure and function. Topics include the structure-function relationships of proteins, carbohydrates, nucleotides, and lipids; enzyme kinetics and mechanisms of enzyme-catalyzed reactions; bioenergetics, and the integration of cellular metabolism.
