LAWS 235 - Argument/Debate & Court Room Skills Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact ‘Learn by doing’ the foundational and organizational skills of persuasion used in the courtroom and beyond. The student will prepare a case for trial by researching legal issues, gathering and analyzing evidence, examining witnesses and finally presenting the case at a trial. Emphasis is on basic research skills, analytical thinking, and the organization and presentation of oral arguments.
