The History Program is committed to enhancing the professional development of its majors by providing opportunities to apply historical skills and thinking to non-classroom settings. This course offers qualified majors 3 credits for completing 135-hours of work on sites and projects relevant to the study of history (i.e. museums, archives, historical societies, public history initiatives). The History Program actively vets, supervises, and assesses internship opportunities to ensure that the work meaningfully supplements the classroom experience.
