CLSC 421 - Clinical Chemistry II Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact Prerequisite(s): CLSC 420 . This course will focus on routine, special and automated methods used in the clinical laboratory to determine the concentrations of analytes, such as Electrolytes, Enzymes, Hormones, Vitamins and Trace Elements in blood and other body fluids. Evaluation of the clinical significance of these analytes and how they are affected by specific disease states.
