CLSC 420 - Clinical Chemistry Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact Prerequisite(s): CHEM 354 , BIOL 355 . Corequisite(s): CLSC 420A This course will focus on routine, special and automated methods used in the clinical laboratory to determine the concentrations of analytes, such as glucose, proteins and lipids in blood and other body fluids. Evaluation of the clinical significance of these analytes and how they are affected by specific disease states will be discussed.
