The M.B.A. graduate courses that must be completed for the B.A. degree are the following:

Turbo Flex Summer Program

Strongly Suggested Undergraduate Course to be taken as an Open Elective: ECON 120 - The World of Business   

• MBAA 501 - Financial Accounting
• MBAA 502 - Corporate Finance
• MBAA 507 - Intro to Quantitative Analysis
• MBAA 601 - Qualitative Meth Bus Research

  The above 12 credits are taken as an undergraduate student as part of the B.A. degree program. The remaining 24 credits are taken as a graduate student after receiving the B.A. degree and after meeting the admission requirement for acceptance into the M.B.A degree program. Please see the Graduate Catalog for specific requirements for the M.B.A. degree.

  *Students in the 4+1 program must take the Turbo Flex Intensive Summer Program during the summer of their third year.

Graduate Progression Criteria

In the final undergraduate year, students in the B.A. Spanish / M.B.A. program will be evaluated by the School of Business Associate Dean and graduate Program Director for a review of their qualifications to progress to the graduate education portion of the program, including:

Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and in Graduate Business courses

Students in the 4+1 program who do not meet the above criteria, will not be permitted to continue to the graduate education portion of the program. Their major will be changed to the B.A. Spanish and the undergraduate degree will be conferred upon completion of the undergraduate program. Credits earned for graduate education courses taken will be applied to the undergraduate degree as elective credit.
