The Early Childhood graduate courses that must be completed for the B.S. degree are the following:
- EDUC 500 - Educational Foundations from Diverse Perspectives
- EDUC 502 - Foundations in Education for Students with Disabilities from Birth through Adolescence
- EDUC 505 - Teaching English as a Second Language
- EDUC 507 - Approaches to Literacy in Early Childhood through Adolescence
- EDUC 513 - Introduction to Early Childhood Education: Foundations, Methods and Materials
The above 15 credits are taken as an undergraduate student as part of the B.S. degree program. The remaining 18 credits are taken as a graduate student after receiving the B.S. degree and after meeting the admission requirement for acceptance into the M.S. degree program. Students in the 4+1 program must take EDUC 205 - Contemporary Issues in Childhood & Education Credits: 3, under the Social Perspectives General Education Disciplinary Grouping, as a general education elective.
