The Childhood Graduate Courses that must be completed for the B.S. degree are the following:

  • EDUC 500 - Educational Foundations from Diverse Perspectives
  • EDUC 502 - Foundations in Education for Students with Disabilities from Birth through Adolescence
  • EDUC 505 - Teaching English as a Second Language
  • EDUC 507 - Approaches to Literacy in Early Childhood through Adolescence
  • EDUC 514 - Working with Parents and Families of Children, in Early Childhood and Childhood

The above 15 credits are taken as an undergraduate as part of the B.S. degree program. The remaining 21 credits are taken as a graduate student after receiving the B.S. degree and after and meeting the admission requirements for acceptance into the master’s degree program.
