PHYS 161 - Physics for the Life Sciences II Credit(s): 4 3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab Prerequisite(s): MATH 201 or the equivalent; PHYS 160 . This is the second in a two-semester sequence of algebra-based, introductory physics with integrated laboratory. The physical principles in the areas of fluids, oscillations, waves, magnetism, electricity, quantum and nuclear physics, with conceptual and quantitative applications to phenomena in the life and health sciences.
