MATH 115 - Mathematics for the Liberal Arts Credit(s): 3 4 sem. hours per week. This course in an introduction to mathematical applications in the real world as they relate to the liberal arts, stressing logical thinking and problem solving. Topics include: mathematical ways of thinking, number sequences, functions and their graphs, counting methods, probability and statistics. The controlled, self-paced course is taking place in SmartMath labs.
