HLSC 303 - Human Anatomy with Cadaver Lecture Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture Prerequisite(s): BIOL 130 /BIOL 130A and BIOL 131 /BIOL 131A or BIOL 160 /BIOL 160A and BIOL 161 /BIOL 161A with grades of B or better in the course sequence. Students must have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Students seeking special permission that have not met the Prerequisite requirements must submit their request and rationale in writing to the Program Director for possible approval. Corequisite(s): HLSC 303A must be taken concurrently with HLSC 303. In the event that a student must withdraw from HLSC 303, they must also withdraw from HLSC 303A . Students who wish to take the lecture component alone will require department authorization. This course provides an in-depth study of structures of the body with emphasis on structures involved in movement. A detailed study of the skeletal and muscular systems will be followed by consideration of the neurovascular system.
