ENGL 200 - Poetics: Introduction to Literary Texts Credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): ENGL 112 or ENGL 192 / HONR 192 An analysis of literary texts. Students examine the use of words, images, metaphors and symbols to create the structures basic to the verbal imagination. English majors should take this course as early as possible.
