MATH 112 - Fundamentals of Algebra Credit(s): 4 credits for students who began the program Prior to Spring 2019 / 3 credits for students who began the program in Spring 2019 and Fall 2019 This course is designed to help students understand the basic concepts in algebra. The topics include: symbols and sets of numbers, order of operations, exponents, radicals, polynomials, inequalities, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing real numbers. Solving quadratic equations and graphing linear equations.
This course is for students in the B.A. Liberal Arts and Sciences program only.
