VETC 101 - Introduction to Veterinary Science Credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): ENGL 111 , MATH 116 , BIOL 160 , and BIOL 160A This course is an introduction to the veterinary profession. It provides students with an overview of veterinary science and technology. Subjects pertinent to all the veterinary sciences are discussed, with brief introductions to medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, behavior, exotics and pathology. Participation in review sessions outside of regular class time is a course requirement. Registration is restricted to major codes VTPR and VTNS. All other major codes require Program Director permission for registration.
