BIOL 130 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I Lecture Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture Prerequisite(s): MATH 116 and ENGL 110 Corequisite(s): BIOL 130A . This course is designed to provide students a comprehensive introduction to the structures of the human body and how the various organ systems function. The course first provides a working knowledge of chemistry, animal cells and tissues, and then details the structure and function of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. The integration of body systems and how they influence one another as well as the effects of disease on human physiology will be considered throughout the course.
