NURS 682 - Ethical Decision-Making in Health Care Credit(s): 2 Prerequisite(s): None. This course provides a foundation in ethics. The primacy of ethics in a caring healing framework is emphasized. Ethical issues and dilemmas across the lifespan are discussed, including organizational ethics, health care rationing, clinical decisions involving genetics and end of life decisions, and health informatics. Students will develop skills in presenting well-reasoned arguments to participate in inter-professional ethics collaboration and decision making.
