MEDA 211 - The Language of Film Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact Prerequisite(s): ENGL 111 . This course is the study of the filmic vocabulary and techniques. It includes the interpretation of the film frame, editing strategies, and the formalists and realist codes of cinematic expression and the poetics of film while considering cultural and directorial variations.
