FINC 235 - Financial Management Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact Prerequisite(s): ACCT 120 . A study of the major issues comprising financial management from the perspective of the business decision maker. Topics to be covered include: financial statement analysis; funds flow concepts; tax and other organizational considerations in forming business; current and long term asset management; types of instruments of corporate finance; capital markets and their regulation. An overview of international finance and global ethics in financial decisions will complete the course. Spreadsheets will be utilized in problem solving.
