This course integrates a variety of innovative computer technologies that support nursing and evidence-based practice. The course emphasizes computer technology skills needed for research, nursing administration and nursing education. This course addresses nursing informatics for the master’s prepared nurse. Principles of improved care are explored through distance learning, use of the internet, and interprofessional collaboration. This is a core course and must be taken at the Dobbs Ferry campus.
