HIST 324 - History of the US Since 1941 Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact Prerequisite(s): ENGL 112 An intensive study of the recent past. The course considers such subjects as America and World War II; the development of the Cold War and the Vietnam involvement; the nature of the Eisenhower era, the Kennedy years, and the protest period of the 1960s, and the difficulties of the Nixon-Ford-Carter administrations of the 1970s; the Reagan era of the 1980s and the aftermath.
