IASP 455 - Secure & Intelligent Program Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact Prerequisite(s): CISC 339 - Artificial Intelligence . This course discusses how programming language techniques can be used to fill the security and intelligence gap between human and computers, computers to computers, and data to networks. Secure programming means writing programs in a safe fashion, to avoid vulnerabilities that can be exploited by attackers. In particular, this course considers novel programming languages that can be used to address artificial intelligence and machine learning, and security and privacy issues. The topics include various instantiations of programming languages and web programming languages, codification skills for coding safety, intelligence enhancement exercises in coding, and the debug and verification tools.
