CLSC 411 - HematologyII Hemostasis Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact Prerequisite(s): CLSC 410 . This course will focus on various diseases of erythrocytes and leukocytes including anemias, leukemias, lymphomas, myelodysplastic syndromes and neoplastic disorders. Identification of the mechanism and factors involved in hemostasis and the coagulation cascade. Analysis and interpretation of laboratory data and any specialized molecular testing utilized in the diagnosis of hematologic diseases as well as in bleeding and clotting disorders.
