BIOL 310 - Immunology Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact Prerequisite(s): CHEM 160 /CHEM 160A , CHEM 161 /CHEM 161A and BIOL 265 /BIOL 265A . A study of the immunological mechanisms of the vertebrate body including antigen structure and types, antibody structure and formation, and antigen/antibody reactions. Discussion of tolerance, autoimmunity, cellular and humoral immunity, hypersensitivity and suppression.
