PSYN 460 - Experimental Psychology

3-6 hours lecture, 3-6 hours contact
Prerequisite(s): An intermediate level course in Psychology and MATH 124 Statistics .  
This advanced seminar focuses on the application of the experimental methods to psychological problems including personality development, learning theory, language development etc.  Emphasis will be placed on research principles and methods including experimental design and statistical analysis. Students will conduct experiments using self-report and observational methods; describe and report procedures in writing; summarize and interpret experimental results; and development instruments such as questionnaires.    

Only open to students in the B.A. Liberal Arts and Sciences program.
