COMM 440 - Fashion and Society Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact This course examines the fashion industry and its relationship to and affect upon the society in which we live. Topical emphasis is placed on key components of the fashion business, including design and designers, media (editors, writers), models, and consumers, as well as the impact of trends in style upon retail apparel businesses.
Only open to students in the B.A. Liberal Arts and Sciences program.
