CISC 341 - Computer Architecture Credit(s): 3 3 hours lecture, 3 hours contact Prerequisite(s): CISC 231 /MATH 231 and MATH 244 . This course provides the basic knowledge necessary to understand the hardware operation of digital computers, introduces digital components and details the steps necessary to create a design for an elementary basic computer. The organization and architecture of the separate functional units of the digital computer, as well as the assembly level machine organization, are examined. (Non-liberal arts credit.)
