NURS 773 - Clinical Practicum III: Family Nurse Practitioner Credit(s): 6 Prerequisite(s): NURS 772 This course provides advanced study of health maintenance, illness prevention, and disease screening practices, focusing on the pediatric client and female reproductive years. Alterations in selected biological and social systems experienced are explored. Diagnostic reasoning, clinical decision-making, and modalities to influence healthy lifestyles are explored. Both acute and chronic manifestations, normal and emergency situations are considered.
This course requires a grade of B (3.0) or better.
