SCPY 718 - Individual Assessment: Cognitive I Credit(s): 3 3 semester hours Prerequisite(s): SCPY 704 Students will learn to administer, score and interpret standardized tests as part of the cognitive assessment of children. This course will focus on the Wechsler Intelligence Scales. Psychometric properties of these instruments will be related to issues of interpretation. Psychological issues in intelligence testing will be reviewed as well as ethical and legal considerations. Students will be required to administer tests and will write assessment reports based on the results.
