PHTR 630 - Case Study Clinical Problem Solving Credit(s): 3 3 semester hours In this course, students synthesize processes and strategies to promote effective clinical reasoning and problem solving. Case studies are used with a variety of diagnoses, settings, and age groups to facilitate the development of clinical reasoning skills. Students are expected to utilize the didactic knowledge gained throughout the curriculum as they work with simulated patients through the entire course of treatment from chart review, evaluation, treatment planning and instruction, written documentation and discharge planning. Offered spring trimester only.
