MTHE 543 - Robotics and Programming for the Classroom Credit(s): 3 3 semester hours This course introduces teachers to computer coding appropriate for K-12 students in authentic learning contexts, tied to core curriculum standards. In this course, programming gives way to utilizing robotics to support investigations, data collection and creativity to support science and math instruction. ELA applications will also be explored with elementary teachers. This methodology course is designed to support teachers’ building of pedagogical knowledge and equitable teaching practices needed to introduce and implement computer programming and robotics for all students.
