POLS 205 - Presidential Politics and the Black Vote Credit(s): 6 This seminar provides an exploration of the political experiences of African Americans. Exploring key aspects of past national elections, this course will emphasize contemporary issues while also examining African American political thought, voting and participation, urban politics, race and elected office, and issues of gender, class, age and sexual identity at the intersections of black politics.
A Life Arts Project is required.
Only open to students in the B.A. Liberal Arts and Sciences program.
