PSYN 441 - Cognitive Psychology Credit(s): 6 Prerequisite(s): An intermediate level psychology course. This seminar will survey and evaluate specific methods used in modern cognitive psychology. Students will compare and contrast various theories and principles instrumental in explaining the role of problem solving through reasoning, memory, language, and imagery. Topics will include, artificial intelligence, connectivism vs. modularity, reductionism, and mind/body dualism.
A Life Arts Project is required.
Only open to students in the B.A. Liberal Arts and Sciences program.
