NURS 751 - Advanced Health Assessment Credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): NURS 749 Corequisite(s): NURS 756 Providing the foundation for patient assessment across the lifespan, this course explores history taking within a cultural context. Combining data derived during comprehensive evaluation of physical, psychological, developmental, spiritual, and occupational data, students develop working and differential diagnoses. Risk assessment, evidence-based practice approaches, and health promotion are stressed.
This course requires a grade of B- (2.7) or better and may need to be retaken depending on overall GPA. Please see advisor.
