CMDS 257 - Introduction to Audiology

This course provides a general study of the science of hearing assessment with emphasis on terminology, physics of sound, anatomy and physiology of the hearing mechanism, audiological evaluation and screening, hearing loss types and degrees, and audiometric interpretation. Offered fall semester only.
