ENGL 352 - Contemporary African Literature

This is an introductory, survey course that introduces students to major post-colonial writers from Modern Africa, including those north of the Sahara. Using multiple genres of works both in English and in English translation, this course examines a number of contemporary issues relevant to Africa.
