BHSC 349 - Directed Research in Behavioral Science

Prerequisite(s): PSYN 101 , SOCL 101 .
This course provides students with a hands-on research experience in the discipline of behavioral science. A more in-depth and comprehensive study of a specific topic than is typically available in the classroom where students have an opportunity to work in small groups under the close supervision of a faculty mentor on all aspects of an active research project in behavioral science. Research design, experimental method, hypothesis development, literature review, data analysis, and presentation skills are applied to the research project. Instructor permission is required.
